Risk Disclaimer

Effective date: June 14, 2026

Read this Risk Disclaimer carefully before using OptionExpert or making any trading or investment decision.

1. Scope

This Risk Disclaimer applies to your use of OptionExpert, including our website, mobile applications, options tools, charts, signals, alerts, AI-generated briefs, news summaries, unusual flow analytics, market data displays, calculators, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Trading and Investing Risk

Trading and investing involve risk. You can lose money, including your entire investment. Markets can move quickly and unpredictably because of earnings, news, interest rates, liquidity, volatility, macro events, geopolitical events, order imbalances, technical failures, and other factors.

You should trade only if you understand the risks and can bear the potential losses.

3. Options Risk

Options trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for all investors. Short-dated options, including 0DTE and weekly options, may lose most or all of their value in a very short period of time.

Options may be affected by changes in the underlying price, implied volatility, realized volatility, time decay, interest rates, dividends, liquidity, bid-ask spreads, early assignment risk, expiration risk, exercise risk, and other factors. Out-of-the-money options may expire worthless. In-the-money options can still lose value. Multi-leg strategies may have complex and nonlinear risks.

Before trading standardized options, you should review the relevant options disclosure documents, including the Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options published by the Options Clearing Corporation where applicable.

4. No Advice or Recommendation

OptionExpert does not provide personalized financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, brokerage services, trade execution, or portfolio management. The Service does not consider your financial situation, objectives, risk tolerance, tax status, trading experience, or liquidity needs.

Signals, alerts, AI-generated briefs, market summaries, and analytics are for informational and educational purposes only and should not be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or trade any security or option contract.

You should consult a licensed financial adviser, tax adviser, legal adviser, or other qualified professional before making financial decisions.

5. Data, News, and Timing Risk

Market data, options data, quotes, Greeks, implied volatility, open interest, volume, news, corporate actions, and index values may be delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or revised. News summaries may omit important context. Alerts may arrive late or not arrive at all.

You must independently verify information through your broker, exchange, official filings, and other reliable sources before relying on it.

6. Model and Calculation Risk

Greeks, implied volatility, time decay, IV crush, probability estimates, option calculator outputs, volatility smiles, term structures, strategy payoff diagrams, and other analytics are estimates. They depend on models, assumptions, inputs, and data quality.

Actual market behavior may differ materially from model outputs. Model outputs may be wrong, stale, or misleading during fast markets, illiquid markets, corporate events, earnings, dividends, halts, and unusual volatility conditions.

7. Signals and Alerts

Signals and alerts may be generated by rules, models, market data, AI systems, or a combination of methods. They may contain false positives, false negatives, delayed signals, missing signals, or incorrect classifications.

Past signal performance, backtests, examples, screenshots, or historical analysis do not guarantee future results.

8. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated briefs, summaries, translations, explanations, and risk analyses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. AI output may misinterpret data, omit important facts, or produce unsupported conclusions.

Do not rely on AI-generated content as the sole basis for trading or investment decisions.

9. Execution and Liquidity

OptionExpert is not a trade execution platform. Broker execution prices may differ from displayed prices, model prices, midpoint prices, alerts, or estimates. Slippage, spreads, liquidity constraints, market halts, order routing, margin requirements, and broker restrictions may affect actual results.

10. User Responsibility

You are responsible for determining whether any trade, strategy, or investment is appropriate for you. You are responsible for understanding the risks, costs, tax consequences, and legal obligations associated with your decisions.

11. No Guarantee

OptionExpert does not guarantee profits, trading success, investment returns, accuracy, uptime, or the avoidance of losses. Use the Service only if you understand and accept these risks.
